The Choptank Trib Team held their annual Wade In for San Domingo Creek on May 19th in conjunction with Environmental Concern's Native Plant Sale & Open House. The Team waded into the creek from at the kayak launch at San Domingo Creek Park on West Chew Street in St Michaels.
This year's "depth to sneakers" was 37 inches! An increase in depth of 4 inches over last year's 33 inch depth. Team members were joined by Addie Eckardt-District 37B Delegate, Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio-District 37B Delegate, Tom Leigh from the Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy & his family, friends & staff of Environmental Concern.
The Team noted an abundance of SAV in the creek this year.
