On Saturday, June 9, 2012 a squad of smog free boaters scoured the banks of
Easton's beautiful Water Trail, the head of the Tred Avon River, from
South Washington Street to St. Michaels Road . The twelve paddlers, namely, Bob Stanley, Bob of the sailing yacht BABOO, Diane Miller, Doc Kuntz, Fred
Stocker, Jen Dindinger, Joel Mullen, Michael and Paul Piraino, Sarah Toman
Hildebrand, Hasan Wilson, and William Ryall enjoyed their journey through the lush
verdant waterway as they gathered fifteen bags of trash and some rather
large objects. Drew Koslow and Natalie Costanzo of the Midshore RiverKeeper Conservancy also assisted and provided security from power boats. Fred
Stocker, a landowner on the North Fork, entertained the paddlers after the
event.
Special Thanks to Tammy Broll and her crew for providing a lay down
area at the Easton Point Landing and removing he trash that was brought
into the landing
This clean-up event was organized and orchestrated by Doc Kuntz. THANKS DOC!
