MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the Maryland Tributary Teams is to build consensus and advocate for policy solutions, to promote stewardship through education, and to coordinate activities and projects necessary to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay's water quality and assure healthy watersheds with abundant and diverse living resources.

If Team members are interested in the February 13 Stream Waders training at Chesapeake College, send e-mail request for more information to:
streamwaders@dnr.state.md.us.

The next Trib Team meeting is scheduled for February 11 and will be held in Cambridge. Discussion will include 2010 Work Plan and Chesapeake Bay TMDL assistance to our local jurisdictions. Agenda to come

A River Cleanup on the Tred Avon River by the Country School in Easton was recently lead by Doc Kuntz, CREB Director of Volunteer River Cleanup. The group picked up 16 bags of litter, 6 tires,  and 80 feet of 3-inch pipe. They want to do more and have scheduled dates in January, February, and March.
